North Sangatta, April 30, 2026 – As a tangible manifestation of its commitment to community economic empowerment in its operational areas, PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by providing livestock assistance in the form of meat goat seedlings. The activity took place on Thursday (30/04) in Singa Gembara Village, North Sangatta. This program aligns with the national development direction outlined in the President of the Republic of Indonesia’s Asta Cita, particularly the sixth point, which emphasizes development starting from villages and grassroots communities to promote economic equality and poverty alleviation.
During the event, TCPI Management, represented by the Sangatta Bengalon Site team, together with the Territorial Staff Officer (Paster) of Lanal Sangatta, First Lieutenant (S) Erwanto Meriyadi, handed over 25 goats to the Anugerah Jaya Farmer and Livestock Group of Singa Gembara Village. This group is officially registered with the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture, and Livestock of East Kutai Regency under registration number 100/017–040/DTPHP. Mr. Handi Sulistiyo, Chairman of the Farmer and Livestock Group, expressed his appreciation for the trust given. He affirmed the group’s commitment to properly care for and develop the livestock so that it can generate economic value for the village community. As part of accountability, the group will prepare monthly reports on the progress of the livestock program.
Thanks to the support and collaboration of all parties involved, the CSR activity ran smoothly without any obstacles. Through this program, TCPI hopes to contribute to improving the welfare of rural communities, strengthening local food security, and supporting equitable economic development in the East Kutai region.
