Participate in Helping Residents Affected by Bengalon Flood

(Saturday 10/12/2021) The natural disaster of floods at the end of 2021 occurred in 6 villages in Bengalon District, namely Desa Sepaso, Desa Sepaso Selatan, Desa Sepaso Timur, Desa Seposo Barat, Desa Tepian Langsa, Desa Muara Bengalon. The natural disaster affected approximately 2000 people of Bengalon.

As a form of real concern for the flood disaster occurred in Bengalon, PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) which is a member of the Bengalon Community Relations Forum (FCRB), which is a forum of PT KPC contractor companies located in the Bengalon area, responded quickly by distributing more than 1,000 of food packages for flood-affected residents. The flood victims at least received food packages in the form of basic necessities containing rice, granulated sugar, cooking oil, eggs, coffee, tea and instant noodles. Prior to the  distribution of aid, this activity has been coordinated with the Bengalon District Government.

The symbolic distribution of aid held on December 10, 2021 at PT KPC Bengalon BCRD Office. Some of aids were handed over directly by representatives of PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk, namely Mr. Khaerul Imam to several flood victims, witnessed by representatives of PT KPC BCRD management and several PT KPC contractor companies operating in Bengalon area.

The Bengalon District Government welcome and is thankful for the assistance provided by companies that are members of the FCRB, one of which is PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk through the Corporate Socialization Responsibility (CSR) program. TCPI do not only operate in  Bengalon but also give active role in the surrounding communities who affected  floods.
