Bengalon & Sangatta – In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, which fell on May 27, 2026, PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk ("the Company") once again carried out its annual qurbani (sacrificial animal) distribution program as a reflection of the Company's social responsibility and commitment to strengthening relationships with communities surrounding its operational areas. This year, the Company distributed and facilitated the slaughtering of five qurbani cattle, which were allocated to several locations across Bengalon and Sangatta. The program involved various segments of the community, including religious institutions, defense personnel, community organizations, and coastal residents.
The recipients of the qurbani cattle were as follows:
- Masjid Al Fallah Munthe, Sangatta – One qurbani cow was handed over and slaughtered at the mosque for distribution to worshippers and nearby residents.
- Indonesian Navy Base (Lanal) Sangatta – One qurbani cow was donated and slaughtered as part of a joint qurbani program organized by the naval base.
- Pemuda Pancasila Office, Sangatta – One qurbani cow was handed over and slaughtered for distribution to the surrounding community.
- Coastal Community of Teluk Lombok Village, Sangatta – One qurbani cow was allocated to benefit residents living in the coastal area.
- Masjid Besar Al-Akbar, Bengalon – One qurbani cow was donated for distribution to mosque congregants and local residents.
The Company extends its appreciation to all parties who contributed to the successful implementation of this initiative, ensuring that the distribution and slaughtering processes were conducted smoothly and orderly. Through this annual qurbani program, the Company hopes to provide meaningful benefits to the community while reinforcing the values of togetherness, compassion, and mutual cooperation that embody the spirit of Eid al-Adha.
