Sangatta Utara, January 27, 2026 — PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) officially inaugurated the Clean Water Infrastructure Development program for the community of Kampung Makassar RT 053, Swarga Bara Village, Sangatta Utara District, on Tuesday (27/1). This program forms part of TCPI’s implementation of Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER), focusing on improving the quality of life of communities surrounding the Company’s operational areas. Since 2010, residents of Kampung Makassar had not had access to proper clean water facilities and had relied on rainwater and swamp water for their daily needs. Through the development of this clean water infrastructure, the community now has access to safer and more reliable clean water, providing a direct positive impact on the health and well-being of local residents.
 
The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of the Swarga Bara Village Head, the Head of Kampung Makassar Neighborhood Unit (RT), local residents, local media, and representatives of PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk Management. On this occasion, representatives of the village administration and the community expressed their appreciation and gratitude to TCPI for realizing the long-awaited assistance. The community also expressed their hope that PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk will continue to grow and that the Company’s social initiatives will be sustained, delivering direct benefits to communities, particularly those in the remote areas of Sangatta Utara District. The inauguration event proceeded smoothly thanks to the support and cooperation of all parties involved. Through this CSR program, PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk reaffirms its commitment to making positive and sustainable contributions to social and environmental development.
