PLANTING 300 TREE SEEDLINGS

ASAM ASAM – PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) Asam Asam site carried out again CSR activities in the form of planting tree seedlings which was held on Tuesday, dated December 19, 2023 with the theme "Goes to Green Port" at Pelaihari port, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan. This activity is the result of collaboration between TCPI and Kintap Class III Port Organizing Unit Office. 

Also presented at the event was the PJ Regent of Tanah Laut, represented by the Head of the Tanah Laut Transportation Service, Mr. Danoe Sulaiman and all employees of TCPI at the Asam Asam site. Apart from that, it was also attended by the Head of the Tanah Laut Public Housing Service, Jorong Subdistrict Head, Village Head, Jorong Police Chief, Jorong Danramil, Jorong Marine and Jorong Airud Post Head, as well as Muara Kintap and Asam Asam Navy Post Heads. 

In his speech, the Site Manager of  TCPI Asam Asam site, Mr. Iwan Karnedi, said that planting tree seedlings activity was a form of the Company's joint commitment to supporting the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program as well as a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) in create a clean environment. Planting tree seedlings was carried out in the Kintap port area covering of 5.8 ha with a planting distance of 5 meters. There were 300 seeds planted consisting of green coconut, ivory coconut, mango, sapodilla and red palm.
